Turkish Bath Exfoliating Mitt
OUR INSPIRATION
Our story began thousands of years ago, with the amazing ritual experienced in the humble bath houses of Turkey known as Hammam, meaning “spreader of warmth.”
One of the oldest bathing rituals in the world, Hammam provides total purification and healing to the body using steam or hot water to relax, deep exfoliation to purify skin and remove toxins, and cold water to encourage hydrotherapy.

Purifying the skin and body in a Hammam is attributed to a deep exfoliation treatment performed using an exfoliating mitt commonly known as a ‘Hammam Kese’, meaning Hammam Exfoliating Mitt in Turkish. The use of a Hammam exfoliating mitt is a culturally-recognised skin renewal treatment used by many people in Turkey and is a first-choice treatment for renewing and purifying the skin.
OUR FOUNDER
For our Founder, Fatma Theodoropoulos using deep exfoliating mitts as a weekly skin purification treatment was the norm growing up. But, as an adult, she struggled to find a non-coarse Hammam exfoliating mitt which effectively peeled dead skin cells in the shower.
Having tried countless exfoliating mitts and disappointed with the results they provided, she set out on a journey of crafting the perfect deep exfoliating mitt which could be customised for each skin type and provided a luxurious experience whilst visibly peeling away dead skin cells in under 3 minutes. Eventually, after years of devotion, testing and perfecting, she succeeded and launched her own collection of deep exfoliating mitts.
Passionate about her unique Turkish heritage and the benefits of the beautiful Turkish spa ritual, Fatma wanted to share her products with all people of the world so they too could experience the power of deep exfoliation. Her ultimate mission is that her products eventually become the norm for purifying the skin and body.

MANUFACTURING OF OUR MITTS
Our mitts are something truly special, inspired by the traditional exfoliating cloths used in Turkish Hammams and perfected over years of testing.
Our unique point of difference compared to other Hammam mitts or exfoliating alternatives is that our mitts have been specifically crafted to exfoliate the skin through visible peeling of dead skin cells in under 3 minutes, using 100% natural tree cellulose fibres.
We don’t believe in mass production, so every mitt is custom made by our textile manufacturer in Turkey, using our secret weaving technique. Each thread is literally woven to perfection, guaranteeing premium results in deep exfoliation and longevity.
In fact, we care so much about our customers’ experiences that we’ve created a unique range of different weaves to complement each skin type. Each fabric texture is thoroughly tested prior to being released to ensure they meet our strict standards.
The result? A premium collection of soft, luxurious mitts for varying skin types that feel amazing, effortlessly renew skin through visible peeling of dead skin cells and do it all in just 3 minutes.

100% Australian owned and operated, all our operations are run in-house. Our products are designed in Australia and custom made by our textile manufacturer in Turkey.
